Speaking & Events
It’s like Eminem meets Wayne Dyer. My presentations are a mix of my raw truth, some “WHOA! She did not just say that!” and a sprinkle of universal messages to tie it all together. If you’re looking to inspire, empower and tap into a little badass light and love, I’d be happy to add a splash of colour on your stage.
I wear a lot of black
The colour comes from the light of my soul, baby!
I speak to audiences of all ages and sizes, tailoring my message to the needs of the crowd. Inspiration and empowerment don’t have to come in a frilly package wrapped in love and light; sometimes it comes with a kick in the ass & an F-bomb or six.
“No one was able to say the things you said and change my life the way you did.” Mackenzie J.
“You rock – and I’m not just saying that as a fan. I love your writing, your brave honesty and your ability to make me think. Seriously, you amaze and inspire.” Tracy N.
Speaking at a Jr. High Mental Health & Wellness Conference in Edmonton, Oct. 13, 2016
September 2016, Elite Life Mastery Summit. Talking about resilience, forgiveness and other stupid things
March 2016, Empowered Woman Online Summit with Natalie Edwards. Sharing my journey and how the lessons I’ve learned can inspire others to keep going no matter how bad it might seem. It’s a 30 minute interview so grab a coffee and have a listen.[/one_fourth]
Forgiveness and Other Stupid Things
The journey to forgiveness can be a long, arduous process but if you start small, you can eventually forgive things you once thought unforgivable. Examine pieces of yourself and learn the steps to take in letting go of anger, pain and resentment.
Saturday, March 4, 2017 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Red Deer, AB.
Saturday, April 8, 2017 11:30-1:30 p.m., Kelowna, BC.
The Art of Kintsugi
Find the beauty in your scars while taking the broken pieces of yourself and turning them into your own masterpiece. In this workshop, you will reflect and understand that whatever obstacles, trauma, personal tragedy or loss that has been a part of your life can redesigned into a work of art. Learn the philosophy and the spiritualism behind the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi and how you can apply it to your own life. This workshop includes a Kintsugi inspired art project.
Saturday, April 8, 2017 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
You Still Have Time
How to write a story that inspires others (or just get your story on paper for yourself)
You’ve been through some stuff and now you want to share your story with the world. It doesn’t matter if you’re 21 or 81, you can (and should) share your experience with the world, if only to give someone hope that whatever it is they’re going through, they will get through it. Make a difference in your own life or the lives of others through writing that inspires!
Saturday, March 25, 2017 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Workshops presented by Tamara Plant, Founder/Producer of All Things FIERCE: Awards, Workshops and Presentations. Tamara has chronicled her journey through blogging and social media but long before the internet, she was a sports journalist who knew her life purpose was more than covering hockey and football. She shares her story of overcoming adversity in her first book, Forgiveness and Other Stupid Things, and encourages others to make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others. When she’s not following the moon cycles, she enjoys tweeting about the lighter side of pop culture. She once tweeted with S.E. Hinton while watching The Outsiders. It was as awesome as it sounds.
